A personal framework for managing money, long-term investing and allocation — using percentages and hypothetical examples, never publishing my actual portfolio value.

What €100k could have become
A hypothetical €100,000 invested in late June 2025 using an equity-heavy allocation similar to how I think about risk: 50% US tech, 20% Europe, 20% Emerging Markets, 8% gold and 2% cash.
Illustrative EUR-based return: ~35.5%, using QQQ, VGK, VWO and GLD as simple market proxies from 23 June 2025 to 7 October 2026. The calculation converts the USD-listed proxies back into EUR using EUR/USD moving from roughly 1.1600 to 1.1177, which added about 3.8% through currency translation. Dividends, taxes and fees are excluded. Separately, my tracked financial assets grew by roughly 42% over the period, but that figure also includes new savings and contributions and is not an investment-return figure.
